The Muye Brocade Robe (牧野 - mù yě) is based on archaeological artifacts like the Northern Dynasties link-pearl brocade robe (北朝联珠对饮纹锦袍). Unlike the wider, straight-cut Tang Dynasty robes, this Northern Dynasties style features a high collar, gathered waist, and slightly narrowed cuffs and hem for a neat, agile, and distinctly nomadic aesthetic. This style influenced later Tang prosperity and ethnic fusion.

The robe uses modern brocade weaving techniques with three colors interweaving, creating a rich, dense texture. The outer layer is supple and holds its shape, featuring a deep, dark base layer. The pattern, referencing the Tang Dynasty linked-pearl deer motif (唐联珠鹿纹锦), features flowing deer lines arranged in geometric patterns, evoking the vast, heroic spirit of the Western Regions.
