"Ink splashes on orchid-thin paper, bamboo verdure veils the clouds." The "Zhu Lin Ye (竹临叶 - Verdure of the Bamboo Grove)" collection is a poetic fusion of the scholar's study and the refined spirit of the Jin Dynasty.

The design features a white Chinese-style Stand-Collar Inner Top (立领内搭 - lì lǐng nèi dā) with a "Plum and Bamboo" (梅竹双清) jacquard pattern, inspired by the Southern Song Dynasty painting "Plum and Bamboo." This can be paired with the creamy white "Mo Tan" sweater, or contrasted with a black woolen coat for added warmth and a clean, sharp look.

The Mamian Skirt (马面裙) is crafted with an ink-wash splatter effect, with bamboo stalks and their golden shadows scattered across the fabric. Bamboo represents the integrity and spirit of a cultured gentleman, who stands firm and does not drift with the currents. The skirt is inscribed with the famous Tang Dynasty poem "An Impromptu at the Daming Palace Morning Court," further enhancing its scholarly charm.

CLEANING INFORMATION

  • Dry cleaning is recommended for the Imitation Zhuanghua Mamian Skirt to protect the gold-woven details and ink-wash effect.

  • The jacquard shirt and knit sweater can be gently hand-washed in cold water. Lay the sweater flat to dry.

  • Wash dark and light colors separately. Use a mild, neutral detergent.

  • Do not bleach. Hang to dry in a cool, shaded place.

  • Iron on a low temperature with a press cloth, being especially careful with the gold threads on the skirt.

We offer free shipping to all countries with any order over $175 USD. Please note that the free shipping discount is calculated in USD only; international customers must reach the equivalent of $175 USD in their respective currency exchange.

Delays & Liability: MULAN Hanfu shall not be held responsible for any shipping or delivery delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as public holidays, peak periods, adverse weather, or flight availability. There will be no refunds for delays unless the order is deemed lost in transit following a formal investigation.
