The "Mí Ā Huáng (谜阿凰)" 'Yuè Chuān (越川 - Crossing the River)' collection embodies the free-spirited nature of Jin Dynasty (晋制) style, utilizing unique retro-washed fabrics for a stylish, comfortable, and highly textured look suitable for all seasons.

The featured outerwear is the Yuè Chuān Outer Jacket (越川外襦 - yuè chuān wài rú), a rú-style short coat (襦) with wide sleeves. The fabric is a specialized cotton/polyester blend, processed with a "layered nostalgia wash" technique (套色怀旧洗), similar to denim washing. This technique involves adding specific dyes during the final rinse to mimic the natural oxidation and multi-year wear of a vintage garment, giving the dark pattern a complex, layered, and natural fade. The material itself is a denim corduroy woven fabric, highly breathable, skin-friendly, and moderately thick with a soft feel.

The jacket is paired here with the Púsà Mán Gathered Cuff Trousers (菩萨蛮收脚裤 - pú sà mán shōu jiǎo kù). These cotton lantern trousers feature a micro-elastic fit and moderate thickness. CLEANING INFORMATION

  • Hand wash gently in cold water (below 30°C) is recommended. Separate colors for washing.

  • Use a mild, neutral detergent (like silk detergent). Avoid bleaching agents or strong alkaline products to prevent corrosion and protect the vintage wash effect.

  • If machine washing, use a delicate or "denim" cycle, placing the garment in a laundry bag. Limit wash time to 5-10 minutes.

  • Do not wring or scrub vigorously. Wash before wearing for the first time to remove surface dye residue.

  • Do not expose to the sun. Air dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place, turning the garment inside out to prevent UV light from fading the color and damaging the retro texture.

  • Do not tumble dry, as high heat can cause shrinkage and loss of the vintage texture.

  • Iron on a low temperature setting with a press cloth.

We offer free shipping to all countries with any order over $175 USD. Please note that the free shipping discount is calculated in USD only; international customers must reach the equivalent of $175 USD in their respective currency exchange.

Delays & Liability: MULAN Hanfu shall not be held responsible for any shipping or delivery delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as public holidays, peak periods, adverse weather, or flight availability. There will be no refunds for delays unless the order is deemed lost in transit following a formal investigation.
